Turning a Plane into a Platform for Discovery
Skyward is a groundbreaking educational project that brings aerospace to life in a way young people have never experienced before. At the heart of the initiative is a retired commercial airliner, fully transformed into an immersive, hands-on learning environment where students can explore the science, technology, and innovation behind flight.
Why Skyward?
Aerospace is one of the most exciting, fast-moving industries on the planet, yet for many young people, it can feel out of reach. Skyward was created to bridge that gap, connecting real-world aviation with education in a way that’s fun, memorable, and deeply meaningful. We believe learning should engage all the senses. By stepping inside a real aircraft and interacting with cutting-edge technology, students will not only learn about aerospace – they’ll feel part of it.

Our Purpose
Skyward exists to:
- Inspire young minds to explore STEM and aerospace careers
- Break down barriers to opportunity, especially for underrepresented groups
- Support educators with curriculum-linked content and training
- Promote sustainability and innovation in future aviation
- Create real-world links between learning and life beyond school
Where We Are Now
- Our first aircraft has been secured and is ready to undergo transformation.
- We’ve built strong partnerships with educators, STEM advisors, and industry experts.
- We’re a registered charity with a growing team and national support.
- We are ready to build a digital platform to extend learning beyond the physical site.
What’s Next?
We’re preparing for launch and working hard to build a space where curiosity, creativity, and ambition take flight. From workshops and events to digital tools and educator support, Skyward is designed to evolve and grow with the needs of students and teachers alike.
Skyward is more than a project. It’s a movement—built to inspire the next generation of aerospace pioneers.
